Weather conditions are such that there is a very good chance for the development of either severe thunderstorms or tornado producing thunderstorms in the watch area. The watch usually covers a large area. This information is available via a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) weather radio, radio, and television broadcasters.
You should monitor weather information sources and the weather itself for any changes that could endanger you or those around you. Check your shelter and the equipment associated with it. Consider avoiding any outdoor activities.
If you are in a manufactured home, travel trailer, or recreational vehicle, consider moving to a shelter as the storms move into your area, before warnings are issued, especially if the storms are moving fast.
