Watonwan County Feedlot Information
Watonwan County has just over 200 registered feedlots made of up of primarily swine and beef production facilities. With guidance from Watonwan County Ordinance, and through an agreement with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA), the Land Management Office assists with permitting, inspections, registrations, manure management, and more.

MPCA Construction Requirements - Must first discuss requirements with the Land Management Office in order to proceed with construction of a new or expanding feedlot.
