Eagle's Nest Park
Eagle's Nest Park is an 80-acre facility located approximately six miles east of St. James just north of State Highway 60. The park lies along the South Fork of the Watonwan River, in one of the most wooded and scenic areas within Watonwan County. The existing park facilities include:
- 1.25 miles of hiking / nature trails
- A picnic shelter
- Charcoal grills
- Electrical service camping sites – four sites
- Picnic tables
- Rest rooms with potable water and showers
Adjacent to the park is the St. James Country Club, an 18-hole golf course which is open to the public.
Kansas Lake Park
Kansas Lake Park is on a 10.8-acre site located five miles south-southwest of the city of St. James, Minnesota along the north shore of Kansas Lake.
The park provides access to Kansas Lake via a boat ramp and fishing pier and includes rest rooms, a picnic shelter, grills and picnic tables. Currently, access to the park is provided via Minnesota Trunk Highway 4 and County Roads 119 and 131.
Long Lake Park
Long Lake Park is a 4.5-acre facility located approximately five miles south of the city of St. James, just off of State Highway 4.
The existing park features include a picnic shelter, charcoal grills, rest rooms, a recently restored swimming beach, a newly constructed floating fishing pier (8 feet wide by 40 feet long), and a paved access road and parking lot, which was constructed in 2009.
Adjacent to the park is a Department of Natural Resources (DNR) operated / maintained boat landing, dock, and paved parking area.
Younger Brothers Park
Younger Brothers Park is a quarter acre park located just south of LaSalle on the bank of the Watonwan River. The park has monuments indicating that the park is near the site of the capture of the historic Younger Brothers gang in 1876.
